Duty Team \ Position Duties
The Team Manager of the Duty Team at HOME will nominate 2 players from that division to arrive up to 15 minutes early to undertake the “Before Play – Inside Duties” (see below).
Please make yourself aware of the “After Play – Duties (both Outside and Inside)” and if everyone pitches in it makes it an easier job instead of leaving it to a few and mainly the ladies.
BEFORE PLAY – INSIDE DUTIES
Make sure both urns are at least ¾ full and switch on (if not already done).
Put Rink Numbers, Money Wallets and Serviettes on the tables (if not already done). These are all located in the 2 cupboards to the left of the ladies toilet under the bench (if you are looking south).
Set up 2 Coffee/Tea stations (one on the bench) & the other opposite the bench on the Trestle. Put enough white mugs at each station if not done.
Make sure there is adequate tea/coffee/stirring sticks/sugar, and one rubbish container by each urn (if not already done).
Please ensure the clubrooms are Tidy (if not already done).
BEFORE PLAY – OUTSIDE DUTIES
Please ensure that the flags, mats and jacks are out on the rinks (this is normally already done by the Greenkeepers).
Please ensure any cups, bottles etc., in cup holders \ ledges are put in the appropriate bin.
AFTER TEA BREAK
Ensure any mugs & rubbish left on the tables is taken to the kitchen on the platters that the food arrived on.
Make sure that someone has counted and taken the money wallet to the bar($6 per HVBC player).
AFTER PLAY – OUTSIDE DUTIES
Put all the mats, jacks, flags etc away and lock the shed when all games are finished.
Put all empty water \ coffee cups in the appropriate bin. Please return all cans, bottles, glasses to the bar.
AFTER PLAY – INSIDE DUTIES
Tidy up, eg. push chairs in, 8 chairs per table and wipe tables after drinks.
